And YES, you were right : - It sometimes was as difficult as you told me it would be… - It mostly was as beautiful as you told me I would be… - And yes, just sometimes, it was indeed as lonely as you told me it would be… But the few constrains did not prevent me from having a great time, meeting many new interesting and lovely people, discover new places, learn a completely new culture and was able to do my contribution to sharing and learning. Constrains did not stop me from developing myself and learn how it is to live in a different culture, with so many, to me unknown customs. I tried to do the best I can, as a professional and as a human being. A special thanks to : - Haifa for her advice, her support and her feedback during my placement, - Shyana for her role during my emergency leave to Holland and being “my balcony friend” at the office, - Waheeda, for her patience and willingness to find out whatever I needed to find out, - Laam, for helping me in those times when the allowance just wasn’t enough, - Hatyhe, for her fantastic coffee, no where to be found in Maldives, - Gura, for sharing the “to-do & not-to-do” things with me, - Shiva for his wise words and solid performance during the “Dutch” security alert. Thank you VSO Maldives, Netherlands and Uk for two excellent years.
